A Tour of Seattle Gardens—from Lake City through Ballard to Queen Anne
$50 APLDWA members
$35 APLDWA student members
$65 Non-members
This year’s garden tour takes us through several of Seattle’s north-end neighborhoods, with our final stop on Queen Anne Hill. Along the way, we’ll explore a diverse collection of residential landscapes. Each reflects a unique design approach—from spaces created for outdoor entertaining and a plant collector’s garden with bespoke woodworking elements, to an active family backyard retreat and a timeless urban garden featuring a productive backyard farm.

Featured gardens are all by APLDWA members. These include the home garden of Robert Hobart of Britescape, designed by Lisa Port, CPLD, FALPD, as well as gardens by Sarah Van Sanden, Kryssie Maybay, PLA, and Susie Thompson, CPLD, with one project built by Avalon NW.

We’ll gather at 9:00 am at Robert Hobart’s home in Lake City for coffee and pastries before beginning the tour at 9:30 am. From there, we’ll visit three additional gardens throughout the morning. The tour will wrap up at approximately 1:00 pm.
